What the festival says about itself:
At sixteen:nine International Film Festival, we showcase the best of short films made by students from the world over. Keeping in mind fresh ideals of the current generation, the festival hopes to revolutionize the contemporary viewpoint of cinema.
The festival will be held on the 12th and 13th of January 2009 at venues such as Bhaidas Sabhagriha, Jashoda Rangmandir and Santokba Sadan.
The festival is organized by the students of SVKM’s Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management with the vision to promote student filmmakers on a global level. The aim is to guide youngsters through their first step towards filmmaking.
