Re: Video shot, apparently on Red and Canon EOS 7D

There reverse of this situation is also happening...like a couple of months back, still photographers used RED cameras to do a 'still photoshoot' for Elle and Megan Fox. Re: Shooting with RED ONE : real life case

If i remember right, I read (in provideocoalition or somewhere) that it is a design problem and more specifically it is due to the kind of material that has been used to construct the lens mount. I admire Dara for sharing details which may not be con...

I thought a DI system would be able to give more flexibility in the manipulation of the image apart from the regular stuff that a Telecine suite gives. I thought the footage from RED, which is file based, is not...

Re: District 9

Completely agree with Bakul..I watched it at Andheri Fame, which was a film print though the film was shot on RED. Impressed that the crew had managed to avoid the rich temptation of setting up cliched shots, scoring cliched music and cliched editing , when you have a huge space ship hovering above ...

Re: New Categories needed on FTII people

Hi Param, Thanks for sending me the details. I will try to log in with that user name also. I still think we should have a category on MUSIC. More so, because it is not a curriculum in our Institute. After a screening at the Institute, we had always had a healthy amount of discussion about the Editi...

New Categories needed on FTII people

Hi Param, I had to come back with new identity as I either forgot the user name or the password. I feel that we need to have new categories. One on Post Produciton and another on Music. Post Produciton - 'cos now its has become a melange of digital applications which has made the boundaries thin bet...
