Just read the review of the H4n in Recording magazine(YESSS... for some strange reason the issues have started comin in again).. they have given it the thumbs up as an ambience recorder... Will try to get the review and post it here...

And if you really need a traditional dictaphone.... Nipa has one that works great. She just bought one of the go-gear's to replace it!! Both of them do a great job...

well i for one really enjoy the recent outburst in HD films... it gives me access to films that i have not seen before with a picture that is beautiful to look at... most of these films, i can never get to see on print, so why not on a very good second best?... And i do believe on a good projection ...

well actually im someone whos been caught in the middle of the digital/film divide... Guys, finally we have surround in the crt... just installed the surround decoder yesterday!! While it is a more rudimentary form of surround and not something that one would want in a professional space, atleast something is better than nothing!!!
