Hello,
Google had organised a series of lectures on various topics. One of which is about photo technology. One could access all these lectures on youtube under the heading "phototech edu". There are around some 32 lectures. I was able to view only a few. I think some lectures are highly technical and probably be useful to people designing cameras and lenses. Nevertheless its full of information.
