Shooting a feature on sony f900 cinealta

Post by Saihmee Dara Singh »

How advisable is it to shoot a feature film on sony f900 cinealta and then blow it up on 35mm for a commercial hindi flick...what about image after projection on big screeen ........I believe quite a few foreign films have been shot on f900 and blown ,but i also read that they have been recorded on external decks on 4:2:2.

detailed pros and cons would be great....

Need opinion..thanks

Robert Rodrigues has shot a number of features on the F900 and projected on various formats including digital and film:

Sin City
Once Upon A Time In Mexico
Spy Kids (I think at least the last one)

also the song sequences in Lars Von Trier's Dancer In The Dark
