Re: Leaving Home: The Life and Music of Indian Ocean
Ahem...year before the last (2008), we shot a carnatic concert with multi (RED) camera setup. It was titled 'Maargazi Raagam' and was released in theaters almost all over India and at the US, Australia, Middle East and Europe. It was shown at Satyam Cinemas in Chennai and ran house full for almost 3 weeks. It was non fiction. This is late Mr.H.Sridhar's last live recording project and it was his dream project too. The film was dedicated to him in his memory. Just two months back the DVD of Maargazi Raagam was released. Surprisingly, during the last music festival season in Chennai, it was again screened in the theaters due to popular demand.

PS: Maargazi is the month of winter in Tamil. It is one of the most beautiful month in this side of the country.
I am really happy that there are more theatrical release of non fiction projects and wish that we see an eclectic collection of them in the future.

Re: Leaving Home: The Life and Music of Indian Ocean
thanks for the correction! is the DVD available in the market? is it a non-fiction film on the life of the musicians or just a live concert footage?
