Open FCP timeline.
Click 'Command 0 (zero)'
Make sure your 'Pixel Aspect Ratio' is 'PAL CCIR 601 (720 X 576)'
Make sure 'Anamorphic 16:9' is switched OFF
From the FCP timeline, select In Point and Out Point of video to be exported
Go to file : Export Using Quicktime Conversion
You will get a dialogue box
In this dialogue box, in the bottom left, select 'Quicktime Movie'
In this dialogue box, in the bottom middle, find a button called 'Options'
click 'options'
You will get a new dialogue box called 'Movie Settings'
The top Tab here is 'Video'
Select 'Settings'
Select 'Compression Type : H.264', 'Frame rate: 25fps', 'Keyframe : Automatic', 'Compression Quality: High', 'Encoding: Best Quality', 'Data Rate: Automatic'
Click OK
Now you are back at dialogue box called 'Movie Settings'
Ignore 'Filter'
Select 'Size'
You will get a new dialogue box called 'Export Size Settings'
Select 'Dimensions : 768 X 576 SD'
Select 'Preserve Aspect Ratio Using Letterbox'
Select OK
Now you are back at dialogue box called 'Movie Settings'
Make sure 'Sound is clicked ON'
Make sure 'Prepare for internet streaming' is switched ON
Click OK
Now you will get a 'Save' Dialogue Box
'Save' to desired location
