ACTION ON FILM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

ACTION ON FILM INTERNATIONAL
FILM FESTIVAL
Long Beach, California - USA
July 27 to 29, 2007

ACTION ON FILM INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (AOF) celebrates the action of filming, the presentation of action on film, and the electric audience reaction within a theatre to an excellent independent film. AOF has become a haven for challenging films and projects that sometimes don't fit neatly into the programming of other traditional festivals.

AOF offers the rare opportunity for filmmakers to be seen on a regular basis, guaranteeing chosen filmmakers that their future work will be shown year after year after being accepted into the 2007 festival. The Festival also has begun producing films for their filmmakers, and have established relationships with major distributors.

The Festival grants over $50,000 in prizes, including cash awards, camera packages, and the chance to direct an episode of a new SPIKE television show. AOF boasts especially progressive Symposium Speaker Sessions on Independent Filmmaking, and will be producing a special 'Women Of Independent Film' Schedule and Symposium series beginning this season.

Winners from past years are thriving in the industry, and consistently cite AOF's place in their success stories. AOF Screenplay winner Mark Mahon has recently finished a major $20 million film, STRENGTH AND HONOR. Two-time winner Stan Harrington has two scripts in development and recently finished a new book on independent filmmaking.
