to elaborate: Cinema is (was) a passion when we decided to throw all we had and jump head first into it.

Then the commerce part hit. You realize that if you want to make meaningful cinema, you need to have 'pushtaini jaidad'. If you are seeking funds elsewhere, then you have to make a certain kind of cinema which you may not want to do. So either you make the kind of cinema you dislike or dont make it.

it is one thing to make your kind of cinema. its another to make a good living for yourself making the kind of cinema you enjoy.

the question is 'to cinema or not to cinema' ('cinema' being used as a verb, as film making)
