Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts invites you to a 4-day festival of films and discussions on performative arts and cultural traditions from various regions of India, reflecting a confluence of different cultures and religions. These video documentaries, directed for IGNCA by some well known Indian filmmakers, showcase a wide range of cultural traditions especially featuring Hindu-Muslim syncretism from areas such as Kerala and Rajasthan to Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh. The film screenings will be followed by an interaction and discussion with the filmmakers as well as eminent scholars of the respective fields.

Entry to the festival is free. Students and scholars working in the fields of history, culture and media are encouraged to attend this festival and participate in the discussions. Special buses will ply from institutions like Delhi University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and Jamia Millia Islamia to bring students to and fro the venue.
